I am from Buffalo, New York, one of the best places in the world to get pizza. My standards are high, and I am not often impressed by anything that is not in my hometown. I had heard great things about Uncle Rico’s Pizza in Fort Myers. Admittedly, I was a skeptic when we walked in. The first thing that I noticed is how happy everybody was! The folks at the counter, the crew working in back, and all of the guests dining there, and picking up their take out orders! We met some folks that were also from the Buffalo area that had just wrapped up their meal and a couple of tables out in front of the restaurant. They were kind enough to give us their table as they were leaving and even waited until we were done ordering before they left. We had ordered some appetizer type dishes, as well as two pizzas. This damn food is to die for! This ranks up there with some of the best pizza that I’ve ever had. Delicious crust, tasty and plentiful, toppings, and served piping hot! The bonus of the evening was having a conversation with the man himself, Uncle Rico, and his beautiful wife , Cira. They are truly the cutest couple and it is clear that the reason this business is so successful is because these kind people absolutely love what they do! If you’re in the area, you must stop by! If you’re within 100 miles, make the trip! It is more than worth it!

Loved the pepperoni and bacon pizza and especially the crunchy crust! Love the atmosphere inside, and the friendly faces! They were very accommodating when we switched from pick up to dine in. Will be returning again really soon!

The old-school house music playing in the background gave it a real nostalgic feel, and while the seating is limited, the place is cozy and welcoming. Now, let’s talk about the pizza—absolutely top-notch! The fire-roasted crust was impeccable, the perfect blend of flaky and soft with that slight char that adds so much flavor. The sauce was on point, and the toppings were packed with flavor. Best of all, it was cost-efficient—two huge slices and a Coke for just about 9. That’s a steal for the quality you’re getting. We’ll definitely be coming back, and next time, I’m bringing the family to try the Vodka Sauce Pizza—I’ve heard nothing but great things. Ordered online. Really convenient! Good luck ever getting a seat here haha. Drove from Naples to pick our pizza and pepperoni rolls up. No surprise here, everything was amazing. Great ingredients, great bake on the pizza and damn that chewy crunchy crust . Will definitely be back soon!
Wow just wow! So so good. We used to go to a place called Don Anthony’s in the cape years ago that had the best pepperoni pin wheels. We haven’t been able to find any as good until now. We got the pepperoni rolls and the Garlic knots along with the meat lovers pizza. Everything was outstanding. We will definitely be going back. Something to keep in mind if you plan on dining in. It is small inside with one 4 top and four 3 tops I believe that’s what it was with some seating outside. We were not in the least disappointed but surprised how good it was. We have wanted to try it for months but just made it over there. Corner of Hanson and 41. Do yourself a favor and go!!
